Winner of the J.C. Nichols Award for Excellence in Urban Design, this plan reimagines the Kansas City North Loop as a transit hub and community park. 
The Kansas City North Loop is a stretch of highway that is about a mile long and divides the historic River Market district from the Finance District. This highway is dangerous, having several areas with cars merging from the left at high speeds. 
The goal of this project was to prepare Kansas City for the upcoming 2026 World Cup
